Hi, I'm Jeremy Shick
I grew up in the trades. My father was a general contractor, and I spent my childhood on roofs, in the middle of bathroom remodels and helping him build homes from the foundation up. I fell in love with that work, and I still do plenty of it around my own house.
My career took me into technology. I earned a B.S. in Information Technology from the University of Central Florida and went on to manage the networks for several local schools in Polk County.
In 2008 I started Catapult Local to put those two worlds together and help local businesses get found and grow. Back then there was no shortage of web designers, but almost none of them were focused on building websites that actually generated revenue. Their sites looked nice and sat there. I wanted to build sites that made the phone ring.
That is still the job. Today Catapult Local builds complete marketing systems for home service businesses: websites, Google Business Profile management, review generation, AI receptionists and AI search optimization, all on simple monthly programs.
